Kirk Tatom started his mortgage career in July of 2000 with Murray Mortgage in Dallas Texas. He started processing loans and by August of 2002 became a licensed loan originator. Kirk is a graduate of the University of North Texas (1994) and is a very active member on the TAMB (Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers) as well as the NAMB (National Association of Mortgage Brokers) where he has participated in lobbying efforts for financial literacy. He has been deemed an expert in the mortgage industry and has testified in defense of consumers against predatory lenders and larger national banks. Kirk started Tatom Lending LLC in May of 2007 to give consumers better choices, more options, and an understanding of the mortgage industry so that people can make better decisions concerning their financial future.
